Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally. This policy explains what data I collect, the purposes for which I process it, and your rights.

STRATO AG processes data in German data centres. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Strato, ensuring that Strato processes the personal data of website visitors only on my instructions and in accordance with the GDPR.

When you visit my website, Strato automatically collects information in so-called server log files transmitted by your browser. These include:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of access
• Name and URL of the retrieved file
• Volume of data transferred
• Notification of whether the request was successful
• Browser type and version, operating system
• Referrer URL (previously visited page)

This data is processed to ensure smooth operation of the website and to improve my offering. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technically flawless presentation).

Log files are deleted after a maximum of 30 days, unless security-relevant incidents require longer storage.

My website includes a contact form through which you can easily send me an enquiry. The following data is collected:

• Name
• Email address
• Content of your message

I process this information solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry).

Your data will be deleted once it is no longer required to handle your request and no statutory retention obligations apply.

4.1 Processing via Formspree

For the technical processing of the contact form, I use the Formspree service. The provider is Formspree, Inc., 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA.

When you fill out and submit the contact form, the data you enter is transmitted to Formspree, processed there and forwarded to me by email. Formspree additionally stores the enquiries so I can view them via the provider dashboard.

Since Formspree is based in the USA, personal data is transferred to a third country. The transfer takes place on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR or – where applicable – under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR).

The legal basis for using Formspree is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in practical and reliable processing of contact enquiries).

If you contact me by email or telephone, your details including all personal data arising from this will be stored and processed by me to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.

I will not share this data without your consent. The data will be deleted once your request has been handled and no statutory retention obligations apply.

This website uses no cookies and does not use any tracking or analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Matomo or comparable services.

No external fonts (e.g. Google Fonts), no external scripts and no embedded third-party content (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo) are loaded. All required resources are integrated directly into the website.

You have the following rights at any time regarding your personal data:

• Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – if data is incorrect or incomplete
• Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) – provided no legal retention obligation exists
